…Color Block Cuteness? Happy Monday! In keeping with our cold weather clothes theme, today we thought we would focus on our fall-to-winter transition mission and get creative with this cute little color block concept by The Man Repeller.  Style Tip: notice how Leandra matched these retro Missoni leggings with an incredible color blocked frock. This look can be worn to work with flats (preferably loafers or brogues) or at night with a fur vest, edgy kicks of your choice, and a killer clutch. Today’s style star is rocking vintage Chanel earrings from WGACA, an Edwardian-inspired color block blouse in dusty jade with lime green rhinestone detail, and black and silver sparkly chic leggings by Missoni. The winter transition has become our mission, so be sure to check back for more style tips and trend alerts…

…Winter Wares? OK class, today’s lesson is on transitional outerwear.  Structured outerwear can make or break your ensemble, so it is always important to incorporate the simplest of staples into one’s wardrobe.  For example, the Cosima coat by Nonoo is oh-so-chic and classic. We love the cozy shearling collar, cashmere cotton blend, and skirted hem and this silhouette is perfect for a frigid winter-y day.  Also, for those of you who want to stay on-trend with rad plaids, we recommend this gorgeous black and white number from Anna Sui’s F/W 2011 collection.  Today’s style star is sporting a feminine chic white Cassis dress by Alice Temperley, super soft black cashmere stirrup pants by Kova&T, and the Cosima coat by NYC designer Misha Nonoo. Style Tip: lace overlays are so beautiful when paired back to leggings, so you really don’t need a slip. Grab a sexy bra and layer your French lace dress over your stirrup pants for a Parisian inspired look…class dismissed. (styled by The Man Repeller)

…Rad Plaid ? Ladies, the time has come to let your inner lumberjack out and layer up with plaid this season—we don’t know about you, but we will take plaid over sequins anyday.  Today’s style star is sporting the circa circle skirt by Camilla and Marc in navy blue. We adore this skirt’s school girl chic vibe paired with IROs hole-y tee (pre-order this gem in cream and black). Style Tip: Feeling the need for a little extra oomph?  Accessorize this simple look with a chunky necklace and an arm party of your choice. …The Nonchalant Chic? We think it is safe to say that dressing for fall is more than a little difficult because we have so.  many.  options.  Do you wear a leather jacket or a crisp trench coat?  Should we pair our mini skirts with leggings or knee-highs?  Boots or brogues?  Sparkles or sequins?  The answer is yes to all of the above—get funky this fall and mash everything up! Today’s style star is sporting a super soft sweater dress by IRO, vintage knee high socks with snowflake detail, and a beautiful bib by Roarke NY.  Style Tip: Layer up with Smythe’s clean trench coat on a rainy fall day… (styled by The Man Repeller )

…The Mod Chic? As some of you already know, we partnered with the super stylish Leandra Medine (aka The ManRepeller www.manrepeller.com) and she styled 15 fab looks for all of you lucky ladies—peep this months issue of Nylon magazine (out today) for deets. The mod chic is one of our favorite looks—from the super structured metal-fringed jacket to the arm party, this look screams chic. Today’s style star is sporting the Marissa jacket by Nonoo, the Sasha dress by Sachin+Babi, and IRO’S Elena blouse. Style Tip: Notice how Leandra layered the Elena blouse over the Sasha slip dress. To the naked eye it looks like a skirt but it is actually a sheer slip dress—never be afraid to layer, ladies. (styled by The ManRepeller)
